We talked with Tomislav Jukić, board member of mStart plus, about application of e-invoices, ERP implementation, eWallet and security issues in digital business.

mStart has been conducting ERP implementation for small, medium and large companies for more than ten years. What benefits does ERP bring to companies and what are your experiences?

According to all relevant research, digital payment takes over other types of payment methods, and has recently been required to apply e-invoices in public procurement in Croatia. How can mStart help businesses in that direction?
mStart is a certified information intermediary, i.e. a legal person providing services for receiving and sending electronic invoices, supporting documents and conducts an electronic exchange of accounts between an e-invoice issuer and a recipient. On the market, we offer a series of services that we have united under the name Digital Office, which includes the management of the entire business process of issuing, receiving, sending and archiving e-accounts.
We can say that we were among the first in Croatia to introduce and apply e-business in 2003, where mStart had the role of an information broker in the exchange of Konzum’s business data with its suppliers.
In the digital payment segment, I would like to point out another eWallet Event solution that has been successful for the sixth consecutive year at the Ultra Europe Festival in Split. It is a cashless billing system and access control.
Visitors throughout the festival can enjoy without worrying about carrying around a wallet, using only the RFID bracelet to enter the festival and pay for all the services within it.
Using eWallet Event Cashless Systems and RFID Bracelets resulted in lowering crowds at the entrances and bars, accelerating payments, and allowing organizers to have complete control over the entire system. At all the retail outlets of Ultra Europe, mStart’s 1POS payment terminals were installed, and almost one million transactions were recorded during the festival.
You have recently successfully implemented BMC Remedyforce and BMC Remedyforce Client Management systems for the company Tisak plus, which is also the first such installation in Croatia. Can you explain what it is about?
BMC has been a global leader in ITSM solutions for over 35 years with over 10,000 customers worldwide, supported by 6,000 employees and 500 partners and mStart is a BMC partner since 2016.
BMC Remedyforce and BMC Remedyforce Client Management are ITSM solutions that are in a public cloud on the world’s leading cloud platform – Salesforce.com, which provides customers with a subscription to all innovation and technology news on this platform.
It is about solutions for efficient and automated IT services management, IT assets, and helps organizations control costs, maintain compliance policies, reduce potential risks and facilitate digital transformation in a thorough and secure way. In digital business, the issue of security is often raised.
To what extent are business operations as these susceptible to misuse and how can they be prevented?
